Establish the starting point and mark out working lines
Lay out the flooring according to job instructions to maximise aesthetics with respect to material colours, grains and patterns, to minimise waste and joins, and to ensure an efficient, quality installation
Measure, mark and cut the flooring to length and size
Install the flooring according to the manufacturer instructions, allowing appropriate field and perimeter expansion joints
Refit removed items and finish installing the flooring
Check the flooring is installed correctly according to job instructions and quality requirements, and fix any deficiencies
Make any necessary preparations for sanding the flooring, according to job instructions
Clean up the work area, identify items for recycling and dispose of waste
Identify, tag and report any damage to equipment and tools
Check, clean and do routine maintenance on equipment and tools and store them and unused materials
